EAC works fine in CS:S but doesn't work in CS 1.6

It's driving me insane, EAC has no problems with CSS, but CS 1.6 is another story. I've tried everything I can think of to get it working (different computers, different accounts on mine, different routers/router settings, different settings in CS), but to no avail. I'm willing to try pretty much everything, to get it working as I've pretty much gotten obsessed by now. I've also downloaded like 10 EAC .exe-s, just in case.

A little info:
EAC works on SpeedGaming's Danish servers in CSS, I've only tried Finnish servers for 1.6 as those are the only ones available for me to try. (DataProof, GameBank and one more
I have no antivirus (even Windows Defender is off), Windows 7 Home Premium (legit) 64bit.
My computer is an Asus N61ja laptop (if that makes any difference)

What message do you get in-game in CS1.6? ("Connection failed" or "Verifying EasyAntiCheat server-side"), or some else?

I just get kicked, it tells me to download EAC from your site, that's all.

So you do not get any message to the top corner in the screen? In this case, it must be an anti-virus software preventing EAC from working. Restart Windows without any anti-virus with the help from FAQ/HELP section.

I don't have an anti-virus, as I said in my first post. It seems that EAC can't integrate with 1.6. To avoid any sort of conflicts I've tried closing pretty much everything (I mean other apps).

In which video rendering mode are you running CS 1.6? Have you tried to backup your config files, then removing the whole counter-strike folder, then starting up the game from Steam so that it can reinstall the game (do not put back your configs yet)?

I've tried different computers, and 1.6 doesn't have cloud sync, right? I've tried every video mode, also different resolutions and running in a window. I'll try a new install though. Thank you for the attention.

OK, so I chose "Delete game content" from Steam, which still left a lot of files in /steamapps/, I manually deleted "/counter strike/" and files that looked like they belong to CS. Then I launched Steam and had it download everything again. Still no go, doesn't show anything except the balloon (from systray) saying the servers name and how many users are online.

Would you be open to let me debug this issue on your computer via TeamViewer tomorrow / day after?
